I love abridged series. They're fun. They also can be a good way of avoiding that "can't see the forest for the trees" problem that comes when you pay attention to the details and forget the structure. For that reason, I'm thinking to pursue this as a form of writing training.
Ergo, I'm about to try to make abridged versions of some Loki fics that I enjoy. And we'll see how well that goes, and how quickly this project falls by the wayside. But my ultimate aim is to make an abridged version of Coneycat's Housemates series, so... who knows, maybe I'll get there.
